TES Entry Eligibility Criteria, Technical Entry Scheme Eligibility:

The TES (Technical Entry Scheme) is the best only entry after class 12th. All the candidates who have to do 10+2 with physics and Mathematics. They can apply for the TES 10+2. In the TES entry, A candidate will not have to appear for the Written Examination in the technical Entry Scheme. A candidate will directly appear for the SSB Interview. The Shortlisting of the candidates for the SSB Interview will be done on the basis of the marks scored in class 12th board examination.

The SSB Interview of this can be tough as compared to the NDA SSB Interview. All the candidates suggest preparing better for this. Selected candidates in the SSB Interview will proceed for the Medical Examination which is conducted at the Military hospitals by the military doctors.

10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Eligibility:-

To apply for any vacancy of the Indian Armed forces or which is related to the Defense, There is eligibility that is required to have for that specific post. The Technical Entry Scheme Eligibility is a bit simple there is nothing much in this:

  • A candidate must be unmarried. Only Unmarried candidates are allowed to apply for this.
  • A Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized Board or Institute.
  • A candidate has passed with physics and mathematics.
  • The marks of the candidate in the 10+2 should not be less than 70%.
  • Age Limit: The age of the candidate must be between 16.5 years old to 19.5 years old.
  • The age should not be less than 16.5 years old and it should not be more than 19.5 years old.

There are some eligibility criteria which are required to have to apply for this vacancy. this vacancy is best for that person who is interested in the technical field of the Indian Army. After the selection in this. Candidates will have their training at the OTA (Officer Training Academy) Gaya for three 3 years and then 1 year of training at the IMA (Indian Military Academy).

Common Eligibility for TES Medical Examination:

Your complete body check-ups would be done. There is no relaxation in the medical Exam on any ground.

  • Height should not be less than 157cm.
  • Relaxation in Height and Weight. Relaxations in height are permissible to candidates holding domicile of specific regions.
  • Your chest should be well developed. The chest expansion must be at least 5cm.
  • Candidate should be free from wax (ears), DNS, Hydrocele, defective color vision, Lasik surgery, over/underweight, piles, gynecomastia, etc.
  • You should be able to read 6/6 in distant vision charts.
  • Minimum 14 dental points with sound teeth

In the medical Examination, You must be free of any disease like gynecomastia, Knock knees, Elbow angle and Bone fractures, etc. Here you all the External body parts will be checked by the military doctors at the military hospitals. Once you are done with the External Body parts. You will appear for the Internal Body organ check-ups like Chest X-ray, Urine Test, Kidney, Liver, etc.

Make sure that you are fit to appear for the medical examination. If you get a permanent rejection from the medical board there is no way to get back. There are two types of rejection in the Medical Exam. Temporary and permanent rejection. If you have any minor problems that can be correct within some time. The Medical Board will give you some time to correct that. But if the problem is major that cannot be corrected. You may get a permanent rejection from the medical board.

You have an option to appear before the medical boards and apply for the re-medical Examination. Most of the times the results are the same.
